Last updated: June 2026. Plain-English summary of how Baseball Stats Tracker handles your data.
When you create an account we collect your email address and name. When you score games we store the data you enter — players, at-bats, stats, and scores — in your account. We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, errors) through Google Analytics to help us improve the app.
We use your email to identify your account and send account-related messages such as payment confirmation. We use your game data to display your stats and sync across your devices. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.
We use the following services to run the app: Firebase (authentication), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), PayPal (payments), and Google Analytics (usage analytics). Each service processes only the data necessary to function. We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.
Your account data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you want your data deleted, email us and we will remove your account and all associated game data within 7 days.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled by Firebase. Game data is stored in a private database scoped to your account only. No other user can access your data.
Baseball Stats Tracker is designed for coaches and parents, not for children to use directly. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Player names and stats entered are at the discretion of the parent or coach who owns the account.
