The
American League (8-10 years old) Yankees sponsored by
BaseballStatsTracker.com brought home the championship in
traditional Yankee fashion, in a hard fought 6 to 4 victory over the
Blue Jays.
This season featured a regular season record of 12-2-2, victory in the longest game in the history of the Orchard Park, NY Little League playoffs (12 innings), a triple play, and three come-from-behind playoff wins. Well done boys!
Special thanks to the best coaches in Orchard Park--Jeff, Ted, Paul, and Dave, who gave everyone a chance to play and made it fun for all--including the parents!
